Discussion of the prospects of open science of the Erasmus+ DigiUni project in Hannover (13.08.2024, Hannover)
On 13 August 2024, the training-workshop on the Erasmus+ DigiUni “Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiative” (DigiUni: Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiatives) project, which is carried out with the support of the European Union Erasmus+ international programme, was held at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Hannover University and the German National Library of Technical Information.
Ukrainian scientists from ten DigiUni universities studied the accumulated experience of the German university in administering education and the creation of the concept of open education. In the training-workshop “Digital learning environments and open educational resources” direct participation from the KNU team was taken by assistant professors of the faculty of Information Technology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Sergiy BRONIN and Olga KRAVCHENKO.
Serhiy Bronin explained about what kind of work German colleagues will be useful to Ukrainian universities-participants of the DigiUni consortium to create the required educational content on the digital platform “The training-workshops held at the University of Hannover and the German National Library strategized the work of Ukrainian coordinators on the further implementation of the program x assignments. Also useful was the update on European innovative educational transformations, the digitization of lifelong continuing education programs, the introduction of new AI services techniques to upskill teachers and digital learning and inclusion in education. All this was told willingly by German researchers”.
This is the fourth training meeting provided by the Erasmus+ DigiUni project. During the previous trainings, partners from the University of Masarika in Czech Brno, the University and the University of Intellectual Property Protection of Scientific and Pedagogical Staff shared with Ukrainian colleagues the experience of best practices of online learning, new methods of improving digital competence and digitization of the educational process and protection of intellectual property rights of scientific and pedagogical staff with Ukrainian colleagues me Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan and the Spanish University of Alicante.
